A History of growth

May 1994 - TELILE was started as a community channel to offer a communications medium during the closure of the local fishing industry

July 1994 - TELILE is carried by the RuSh Cable System in Arichat, Petit de Grat and West Arichat

1996 -RuSh extends the signal to the D’Escousse area of Isle Madame and Louisdale

2002 -TELILE was granted a broadcast license by the CRTC

2003 -TELILE began broadcasting on Channel 10 benefiting communities that do not have access to cable television

March 2005 - Seaside Cable carries TELILE to the St. Peter’s Cable System

May 2005 -Seaside adds TELILE to the Glace Bay area Cable system

September 2007 - EastLink took over RuSh cable system

January 2008 - TELILE moved into its new building at 17 Conney`s Lane

What is unique about us? 

We are an non-profit organization. Our programming and other services are community based and any nonprofit organization can advertise meetings, games dances, or any event for free.
